The first artifact from my healed timeline

My life changed when I was 14. That was when childhood ended and survival began. I did not know it then, but a part of me stayed there—frozen between who I was becoming and who I had to become in order to make it through.

For years, I kept going. I became responsible. Capable. Strong. The kind of strong that looks impressive from the outside, but often comes from having no other choice. Survival taught me how to endure, but it also taught me how to leave pieces of myself behind.

Then, years later, something in me started building. Before I fully understood what was happening, I found myself creating a roller rink in my basement. Lights. Music. Movement. A whole world beneath the world.

At first, I thought I was just making something beautiful. Now I believe my higher self was building me a way back. Back to the girl I had to leave behind. Back to the joy I thought life had taken from me. Back to the part of me that still believed in magic, even after everything.

Lap by lap, song by song, I started to meet her again. And slowly, I began to heal her.

That journey became Roller Home. Not just a children’s book, but the first artifact from my healed timeline. The first piece of work I did not create from survival, urgency, or proving.

I created it from alignment. From softness. From spirit. From the version of me who finally understood that joy was not something I had to earn after surviving enough.

Joy was the medicine. Joy was the portal. Joy was the way home.

The Roller Home: A story about joy, courage and doing what makes you happy is for children, inner children, survivors, dreamers, and anyone who has ever felt called back to a version of themselves they thought was gone.

Because sometimes healing does not arrive as a plan. Sometimes it arrives as a pull. A vision. A room full of lights. A song you forgot you loved. A place your soul built before your mind understood why.
