Protect the Truth in the Census
The U.S. Census Bureau is considering removing race and ethnicity questions from the 2030 Census. The Census does much more than count people—it helps determine political representation, federal funding, and how communities understand disparities in healthcare, housing, education, employment, and economic opportunity.
Removing these questions will not erase inequality. It will only make inequality harder to see, document, and address.
The public has an opportunity to comment before a final decision is made. You do not need to be a policy expert, and you may submit your comment anonymously. It only takes a few minutes.
